DESCRIPTION:The annual meeting for Public Comment for Higher Education and 
 Social Services programs is held the third Monday in August from 6pm-7pm a
 t the Shawnee Community Building in Miami, Oklahoma. This year's meeting w
 ill be held on August 21, 2023.   Citizens are welcome to attend to make 
 public comment on the Higher Education Award, School Clothing and Extracur
 ricular Assistance, Burial, Low Income Housing Energy Assistance, and Low 
 Income Housing Water Assistance programs. Citizens who cannot attend in pe
 rson may submit a comment in writing to be read aloud at this meeting for 
 Public Comment. Written comments should be mailed to Education and Social 
 Services Director Joshua Shawnee at 29S Hwy 69A Miami, OK 74354. Written P
 ublic Comments must be received by August 21, 2023 by 6pm.   Additionally
 , public comment can be made in person at monthly Business Council meeting
 s and at the tribe's annual General Council meeting. Questions should be d
