The Shawnee Tribe has partnered with the School of Dance at the University of Oklahoma to present the 2024 Five Moons Dance Festival, August 24-25.
Free, roundtrip charter bus transportation to the festival is available from Miami, OK, and Tulsa, OK, on a first-come, first-served basis. Special-rate hotel rooms in Norman are also available. Those who commit to an overnight bus itinerary and book a hotel room for Saturday, 8/24, will receive a complimentary ticket to the closing performance at OU on Sunday, 8/25 ($35 value).
Lodging info: Book your hotel room for Saturday, 8/24, directly with the NCED Hotel in Norman, OK, and ask for the Shawnee Tribe block rate—call (405) 447-9000. Each room in the festival block is a single queen room at a rate of $109/night, plus 8.75% tax. The group rate is only guaranteed through Wednesday, 8/7.
