Overview
We are seeking STEM Educators and STEM Professionals to advise us on afterschool and summer program design.
The Shawnee Tribe is proud to announce the launch of our Native American STEM Pathways Initiative, a program designed to inspire youth through hands-on learning, leadership development, career exploration, and culturally meaningful educational experiences.
This initiative is focused on increasing access to high-quality Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) opportunities for Native American students while helping participants build confidence, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and awareness of future career pathways. Through engaging activities, mentorship, guest speakers, and community partnerships, students will explore how STEM connects to everyday life, innovation, and the future of our communities.
To support this work, we are seeking qualified individuals, organizations, educators, to help us design our afterschool and summer programming.
